there's a title that I like. Nothing like a little zing (a little
"whatever") at the expense of your viewers. This is one
of those titles (another being This Chick
is Hot!) where I have an eye on the college boys I live around.
The University of Minnesota is largely dominated by dumb, drunken
frat boys, so I'm sure a lot of the bite of the humor is aimed at
them and their types.
American
culture is overrun by the belligerant frat culture; dude,
I'm gonna kick yer ass. Lovely people.
This
piece wasn't a favorite of mine, because of its difficulty to bring
together. Now, when I look at it, I have to say, it's much better.
Another touch of surrealism; with a lot more aggressive on the abstract
front. A crazy cacophony of shape and form and color. I wasn't consciously
aiming for a psychedelic style, nor was I dropping acid or anything.
This just happened to come out in my art, and my imagination. |
