| This
next addition of the portraits series is a companion piece to The
Feminine Mystique. Like that portrait, this one is named
after the famous book. The composition on these two are more abstract,
adding some variety to the whole set. I have to say I like the color
scheme at play here; maybe this style would work for celebrity portraits
(ala Warhol).
Just
like the aforementioned piece, I didn't use this title as a bid
for ironic posing. I don't think there really was any intent, besides
bringing together elements and seeing what happens. Whatever meaning
you choose to find is, really, your own. But isn't that the truth
with all art?
Who
knows. I often think I prefer something that makes my head race
around in circles to something that offers good answers. It's just
way my brain is wired. |
