This
is not one of my better tries, mostly because I didn't really do
anything. Just what did I actually accomplish? Perhaps I am being
something of a perfectionist; I have a tendency to shun most of
my artwork after their second birthday. It's always the newest thing
that captures my fancy, and all I can see in the older works are
the flaws.
This
is true of all creative types, to an extent. This particular style
is clearly taken from Warhol's portraits, which I always enjoyed,
and I think I could develop a certain style in this mold with some
practice.
But,
as things stand today, I don't think this one makes the cut. And
that title is just rediculous. |
