better way to keep that stuffy artist's ego in check than with a
witty title like this? For this piece, I melted the crayons a bit
to get that cool Jackson Pollack-meets-Pop Art effect that I've
been aiming at for so long. I liked the melted-wax idea so much,
I ended up using it on a few later paintings like Rebecca
Smith and Horse
Feathers.
Melting
crayons probably isn't the safest thing to do on a Greyhound bus,
but what are you going to do between Manhattan and Cleveland? |
