| The
Amazing Mumford shows some terrific use of color, with the
greens set against the purples of Mumford. Like the other pieces,
I was going for something that was child-like, while still showing
my skills and artistic leanings. Working with crayons is quite easy,
and to my mind, is just as legitimate as paints or charcoal pencils.
The
style is very much a fusion of pop art with the absctract, which,
really, has been something I've worked on for some time now. I think
those two styles merge pretty well, and I think these crayon drawings
are great to look at. The Sesame Street book I used was another
great benefit; I couldn't ask for better poses. |
