| Here
is another early acrylic piece of mine. It's very layered, and took
quite a while to finish, but it was a lot of fun and looks good.
This is something that evolved more than anything; I never had the
finished piece in mind, but gradually, through the layers, I found
something that looked right. So, if you're one of those who believes
all art is somehow preordained, now you know better.
The
b-side to Rainforest mainly entails name tags arranged
in a nice pattern. If you're noticing the same thing on a lot of
back-sides, you'd be right; I really embraced the idea of the b-side
around the year 2000, and in between creating Watercanvas
paintings, I went back to my older work and created b-sides for
those, too.
This
time, I couldn't think of too much to write about, so I just listed
my favorite Dreamcast games at the time. This is similar to the
b-side to Easter 1999, where I
listed my favorite Atari 2600 games. Man, wasn't I reading any books
back then? |
