Nanji
Desu Ka? is Japanese for "what time is it?" It's
usually among the first phrases taught to you when you begin studying
the language. They don't teach you anything about telling time,
so actually asking for the time is pretty much worthless until you
are further along.
This
second piece has a rustier tone than the first one. The only real
difference between the Nanji Desu Ka paintings is the color and
texture, giving it something of a Pop Art feel. Overall, this is
very organic, with a look that looks more painterly than computerized.
Which is what I always strive for. |
