| Another
one of the abstract scribbles from 1998. It just so happens that
I was listening to Metallica's Garage, Inc. while updating
this page. It's a little funny for me because that CD was in constant
rotation during that year, and hearing it again just brings all
those memories back for me. All those wonderful days and nights
of creating new art like this and the Acrylics
and Watercolors. The taste of spray
paint floating in the air is still somewhere in the back of my mind.
In
other words, this was a lot of fun for me to create. I'm not going
to waste anyone's time with any pretentions of artistic greatness,
because this was more about having fun than actually being, well,
skilled. It's always been the bedrock to my garage-rock attitude
towards art.
Considering
how well my own skills have improved over the years, I'd say that's
the best of all worlds. |
